ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:


Assistant Commission (Crops): Candidates must have a Master's degree in Agricultural economics or agricultural extension/Agronomy/Entomology/Nemotlogy/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Agriculture botany/plant biotechnology/plant pathology/plant physiology/seed science and technology/soil science and agricultural chemistry from a recognised board or institute.
Aeronautical Officer: Candidates must have a degree in Aeronautical/electrical/electronics/mechanical/metallurgical engineering from a recognised university or institute.
Scientist 'B' (Mechanical): Candidates should have acquired a degree in Physics from a recognised university or institute or bachelor of engineering/bachelor of technology in mechanical engineering or metallurgical engineering from a recognised university or institute.
Junior Scientific Officer (Explosive): Candidates should have acquired master's degree in chemistry/forensic science with chemistry from a recognised university or institute.
Assistant Chemist: Candidates should have a master's degree in any branch of chemistry or bachelor degree in chemical engineering or technology from a recognised university or institute.

AGE LIMIT:


Assistant Commission (Crops): The maximum age of the candidate 40 years.
Aeronautical Officer: The maximum age of the candidate should be 35 years.
Scientist 'B' (Mechanical): The maximum age of the candidate should be 35 years.
Junior Scientific Officer (Explosive): The maximum age of the candidate should 30 years.
Assistant Chemist: The maximum age of the candidate should 30 years.

PAY SCALE:


Assistant Commission (Crops): Rs 15,600 - Rs 39100 + s 6,600 grade pay per month
Aeronautical Officer: Level - 10 of the pay matrix as per 7th CPC.
Scientist 'B' (Mechanical): As per seventh CPC Level - 10 (Rs 56,100 - 1,77,500) in the pay matrix.
Junior Scientific Officer (Explosive): Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800 with grade pay of Rs 4,600 in PV - 2 (pre-revised)
Assistant Chemist: As per seventh pay CPC level - 8 (Rs 47,600 - 1,51,100) in the pay matrix.

TS POLYCET 2018 : Registration Begins

The registration process for Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) has begun today, on March 14. The exam is conducted by state board of technical education and training, Hyderabad for admission into diploma level programmes conducted in government, aided, private unaided polytechnics and polytechnics run in existing private unaided engineering colleges. There is no age restriction for appearing for the exam. A candidate needs to obtain 36 marks out of 120 (30 per cent) in order to be declared passed in the examination.
