Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates who wish to appear for combined medical services exam. The willing candidates can apply online through official website latest by April 10. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 28.
Eligibility criteria for the interested candidates is listed below:
Candidates willing to apply for the exam should be either a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the January 1,1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India;
Candidates should have attained the age limit of at least 32 years as on January 1,2015. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved category. (up to a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a scheduled caste or a scheduled tribe, up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) who are eligible to avail reservation);
Candidates should have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS examination;
Candidates must be physically and medically fit according to the physical/medical standards for the exam.
