IIT Delhi invited application for admission in postgraduate and phd courses.

Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has invited applications for the admission of candidates to full time and part time postgraduate and Ph.D programmes for the commencing 2015 session. The interested candidates must send in their applications on or before March 31.

Programme details
Postgraduate courses
Engineering in- mechanical, design, chemical, civil, computer science, electronic and in various other fields.
M.S in- applied mechanics, chemical engineering, school of biology sciences, telecommunication technology and management and various other courses.
Ph.D courses
Ph.D in applied mechanics, biochemical engineering and biotechnology, chemical engineering, chemistry, civil engineering, humanity and social sciences, mathematics and various other courses.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The candidates must have an aggregate CGPA of 6.75 (for general and OBC) and 6.25 (SC/ST/PH) on a ten point scale or equivalent.
The candidates must have scored at least 60 per cent marks (for general and OBC) and 55 per cent marks (for SC/ST/PH).

Selection Procedure
The candidates will be selected on the basis of a test and an interview, conducted by IIT.

How to apply
The interested candidates must register themselves online on the official website of IIT Delhi. The candidates must not send in the bank challan or any hard copies and instead pay the fee through online mode.

Application Fee
The candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 200 (general and OBC) and Rs 50 (SC/ST/PH)
