KEA recruitment at 2160 posts: Eligibility criteria

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has invited applications for recruitment at the post of assistant professors in the government first grade colleges. The interested candidates can apply before March 23.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:
  • Candidates should possess a Master's degree in the concerned subject with at least 55 per cent or its equivalent (50 per cent in case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/physically and visually challenged categories)
  • Candidates should have been passed National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET)
  • Candidates doing PhD are exempted from appearing for National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET).

Age Limit: The minimum age of the candidates applying for the post should be up to 22 years.
Examination Fee: An application fee of Rs 2,500 is to be paid by general candidates and Rs 2,000 by schedules caste, schedules tribes and physically challenged candidates for the registration process
 
Selection Procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of competitive exam.

Competitive Examination Dates: The competitive examination time table is likely to be conducted in the month of April or May 2015.
