Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space, Bangalore has invited applications for recruitment at various posts. The interested and eligible candidates can apply by March 20.

Eligibility criteria:
Candidates applying for this post should be officers working under the central/state govt., autonomous bodies, R&D institutions, universities and academic institutions etc.; 
Candidates should be holding the analogous posts or equivalent on regular basis in the parent cadre or department;
Candidates should have acquired two years of experience of the regular service in the immediate lower pay scale
Educational qualifications:
Candidates applying for this post should possess a post graduate degree or doctorate degree from the recognised university or institution with the 10 years of relevant post- qualification experience in the space science/space technology applications/satellite communications/remote sensing. 
Age limit:
Candidates applying for the post should not age more than 56 years.
Pay scale:
Pay Band (PB-4) and the pay scale of Rs 37,400 to Rs 67,000 plus grade pay of Rs 10,000 per month.

In order to apply, the candidates are required to send their duly filled application forms to the "Under Secretary (Parliament), Dept. of Space, Govt. of India, Anthariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore - 560 231". Besides, the candidates are required to send the attested copies of relevant documents and testimonials along.

TS POLYCET 2018 : Registration Begins

The registration process for Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) has begun today, on March 14. The exam is conducted by state board of technical education and training, Hyderabad for admission into diploma level programmes conducted in government, aided, private unaided polytechnics and polytechnics run in existing private unaided engineering colleges. There is no age restriction for appearing for the exam. A candidate needs to obtain 36 marks out of 120 (30 per cent) in order to be declared passed in the examination.
