Eligibility criteria:
Age limit:
Trainee I: Candidates applying for this post should age between 18 and 25 years.
Trainee II: Candidates applying for this post should age between 18 and 22 years.
Station officer: Candidates applying for this post should not age more than 40 years.
Sub-officer: Candidates applying for this post should not age more than 40 years.
Technician C/D (crane operator): Candidates applying for this post should age between 18 and 33 years.
Technician C/D (mechanic cum dozer operator): Candidates applying for this post should age between 18 and 33 years.
Educational qualification:
Station officer: Candidates applying for this post should possess SSC certificate or equivalent. Also, they should have acquired a certificate of station officer's course of the national fire service college or from CISF fire training centre. Or the candidates should be graduates of the Institute of Fire Engineering, India/London.
Sub-officer: Candidates applying for this post should possess SSC certificate or equivalent. Also, they should have acquired a certificate of sub officer's course from national fire services college or from CISF fire training centre.
Technician C/D (crane operator): Candidates applying for this post should have acquired at least 60 per cent marks in SSC/HSC with Mathematics and Science. 
Technician C/D (mechanic cum dozer operator): Candidates applying for this post should have acquired at least 60 per cent marks in SSC/HSC with Mathematics and Science. They should have acquired a trade certificate in diesel mechanic of one year duration.

TS POLYCET 2018 : Registration Begins

The registration process for Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) has begun today, on March 14. The exam is conducted by state board of technical education and training, Hyderabad for admission into diploma level programmes conducted in government, aided, private unaided polytechnics and polytechnics run in existing private unaided engineering colleges. There is no age restriction for appearing for the exam. A candidate needs to obtain 36 marks out of 120 (30 per cent) in order to be declared passed in the examination. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results of Indian Forest Service (IFS) 2017.
