A city-based technology firm has provided education-centric software to class twelve students of government schools all over the city of Coimbatore. Raptor Technologies India, which has designed the evolutionary 'Raptor Yeah' software for English medium students of the Samacheer curriculum, has donated it to seven Government schools and eight Corporation schools on Wednesday. Major subjects covered under the services provided by the software are mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and computer science.
Founded in 2003, Raptor continues to lead the nation in cutting-edge visitor management technology. Over 12,000 K-12 schools and community facilities such as YMCAs use the Raptor system every day, making it the most popular choice for organizations that seek to keep children safe from sexual predators. Raptor has always been dedicated to school safety and protecting children. Raptor has identified over 15,000 registered sex offenders attempting to enter our clients' campuses in the past decade. The Raptor system has also been credited with the arrests of many wanted offenders that crossed state lines and failed to register in their new state of residence.
T.S. Karthikeyan, Managing Director of Raptor Technologies India, told the journalists that the schools can use the education software in all their systems. It has provided the curriculum in a simple audio-visual format. "We are a start-up and have really immense plans, for the community of schools, teachers, students and parents. We have simplified down the subject content for easy comprehension and to increase application skills in the students. Different types of modules are offered for various types of students ranging from average scorers to the toppers," he added.
