UPSEE Exam 2015: To be conducted on April 18 and 19

The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) for the session 2015 to be conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) is scheduled to be held on April 18 and April 19. However, no other details have been notified so far. According to sources, UPSEE 2015 application forms will release on February 25.

Being a state level exam, UPSEE is held for admissions to engineering and technical institutes affiliated to UPTU. This year onwards, the exam can be attended by students outside Uttar Pradesh as well. Admissions will be granted to the following courses:

B.Tech

B.Pharm

M.C.A

B.Arch

B.FAD

BHMCT

Candidates who qualify Class 12 exams having obtained at least 45 per cent aggregate marks will be eligible to apply for this exam. Also, the candidates should have studied Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Class 12 with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as an optional subject.

UPSEE applications will be available online as well as offline. The UPSEE test paper will consist of 150 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology based on the syllabus of Classes 11 and 12. It shall be an objective type question paper wherein the candidates will be awarded with four marks for every correct answer. No negative marking is applicable for a wrong answer, though.
