MICA Fellow Programme in Management Admission process

The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) at MICA is the first programme of its kind in the country. It is an AICTE approved doctoral level programme offered in the communication discipline. 
Admission process for Fellow Programme in Management
Stage 1: Telephonic interview is made to the eligible applicants.
Stage 2: The shortlisted applicants appear for MICA's FPM Admission Test. The FPM Admission Test is a two-day process organised on the MICA campus, comprising of the Written Test (WT), a Group Discussion (GD), an Individual Presentation (IP) and a Personal Interview (PI).
Applicants appearing for the admission test will be provided lodging and boarding at the MICA campus.
Day 1:
Written Test (WT)
The Written Test will examine the candidate's (communication) theoretical understanding, the ability to investigate a communication phenomenon and the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions.
Group Discussion (GD)
The Group Discussion will include a group of 6-8 Applicants who will be given a GD topic on the spot. The group will be allowed to deliberate and reflect on the topic for the first 15 minutes, followed by a 30 minute discussion. The GD process will be evaluated by a panel of experts.
Day 2:
Individual Presentation (IP)
The candidate will be given a presentation topic on the spot. S/he will be given 90 minutes to prepare and 15 minutes to present to a panel of experts. Applicants will be required to make PowerPoint (PPT) presentations. A computer will be allotted to each candidate for creating PPT. Applicants may bring their own laptops as well. However, each candidate will be required to bring a USB flash drive.
Personal Interview (PI)
The Personal Interview will follow the IP, where a panel of experts will assess the candidate's personality and passion for research.
Detailed test structure and timings will be sent to the applicants shortlisted for the FPM Admission Test.
Selection procedure
1. Performance in the FPM Admission Test
2. Consistent academic performance from 10+2 onwards
3. Professional work/research experience in media and communication

UPSC IFS Final Results 2017 out at upsc.gov.in

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results of Indian Forest Service (IFS) 2017.
