Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualifications:
  • Technician B (Chemical): The candidates applying for this post are required to have passed SSLC/SSC. They should have ITI/NTC/NAC in any of the trades: attendant operator (chemical)/instrument mechanic (chemical)/electroplater/maintenance mechanic (chemical plant)/laboratory assistant (chemical).
  • Technician B (Diesel Mechanic): The candidates applying for this post are required to have passed SSLC/SSC. They should have ITI/NTC/NAC in diesel mechanic trade.
  • Technician B (Diesel Mechanic with HVD License): The candidates applying for this post are required to have passed SSLC/SSC. They should have ITI/NTC/NAC in diesel mechanic trade. Besides, they should have a valid heavy vehicle driving license.
  • Technician B (Electrical): The candidates applying for this post are required to have passed SSLC/SSC. They should have ITI/NTC/NAC in electrician trade.
  • Technician B (Fitter): The candidates applying for this post are required to have passed SSLC/SSC. They should have ITI/NTC/NAC in fitter trade.
  • Technician B (Plumber): The candidates applying for this post are required to have passed SSLC/SSC. They should have ITI/NTC/NAC in plumber trade.
  • Technician B (Machinist): The candidates applying for this post are required to have passed SSLC/SSC. They should have ITI/NTC/NAC in machinist trade.
  • Technician B (Motor Mechanic with HVD License): The candidates applying for this post are required to have passed SSLC/SSC. They should have ITI/NTC/NAC in mechanic (motor vehicle) trade. Besides, they should have a valid heavy vehicle driving license.
  • Technician B (Pump Operator cum Mechanic): The candidates applying for this post are required to have passed SSLC/SSC. They should have ITI/NTC/NAC in pump operator cum mechanic trade.
  • Technician B (Refrigeration cum Air Conditioning): The candidates applying for this post are required to have passed SSLC/SSC. They should have ITI/NTC/NAC in mechanic trade refrigeration and air conditioning.
Age limit:
The candidates applying for the post should age between 18 and 35 years.

Pay Band 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay 2,000

TS POLYCET 2018 : Registration Begins

The registration process for Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) has begun today, on March 14. The exam is conducted by state board of technical education and training, Hyderabad for admission into diploma level programmes conducted in government, aided, private unaided polytechnics and polytechnics run in existing private unaided engineering colleges. There is no age restriction for appearing for the exam. A candidate needs to obtain 36 marks out of 120 (30 per cent) in order to be declared passed in the examination.
