SSC Last date for application submission extended to february 23

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications for recruitment at 62,390 posts to fill up vacancies in Indo Tibet Border Police Force (ITBP), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Assam Rifles.

The candidates can visit the official website and apply through SSC system of online application processing (SOAP). The last date for submission of applications has extended to February 23, 3015. The candidates who have qualified Class 10 from a recognised Board are eligible to apply. Besides, the candidates should age between 18 and 23 years as on January 1, 2015, in order to be eligible.

The candidates are also required to fulfill the physical standards, that include:
Height: Male: 170 cms, Female: 157 cms
Chest: Male Only: Unexpanded - 80 cms, Expanded: Minimum expansion 5 cms
Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards
The selection process is divided into four parts:
Physical Standard Test (PST);
Physical Efficiency Test (PET);
Written Exam (October 4);
Medical Exam.

Candidates who qualify all the levels of selection process will be short listed and be placed in the Pay Scale-I Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP Rs 2,000.

TS POLYCET 2018 : Registration Begins

The registration process for Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) has begun today, on March 14.
