Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for their Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Exam for the session 2015. The eligible candidates can apply by March 20.

Statistics-II: 200: 3 hours
Statistics-III: 200: 3 hours
Statistics-IV: 200: 3 hours

- The question paper in all the subjects will be conventional type;
- All question papers will be set in English and have to be answered in the same language;
- The Commission has discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects of the exam;
- If a candidate's handwriting is not easily legible, deduction will be made on this account from the total marks otherwise accruing to him/her;
- Marks will not be provided for superficial knowledge;
- Credit will be given for orderly, effective and exact expression combined with due economy of words;
- In the question paper wherever required, SI Units will be used;
- Candidates will be allowed the use of scientific (non programmable) calculator. Programmable type calculators, however, will not be allowed;
- Candidates should only use international form of Indian numerals (eg, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)while answering question paper.
