Department of Higher Education under HRD ministry is hiring

The Department of School Education and Literacy, under Human Resource Development Ministry (HRD), has invited applications for filling the  post of Chief Consultant with RUSA Resource Centre (RRC), which provides technical, strategic, logistic and other support to the national implementing bodies. Last date to apply is February 15, 2015 by 5 pm.

Education Qualifications:
The candidates should possess a Master's degree /M. Phil./PhD in Social Sciences/Sciences/Engineering/Technology/Management/Law. The candidates applying for the post should have 10-15 years of experience in social development sector and a sound domain knowledge in areas of higher education, policy and governance, administration.
Age Limit: The candidate should be below 60 years of age at the time of applying.
Pay Scale: The candidate will be offered Rs 8.40 lakhs to Rs 12 lakhs p.a.

TS POLYCET 2018 : Registration Begins

The registration process for Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) has begun today, on March 14. The exam is conducted by state board of technical education and training, Hyderabad for admission into diploma level programmes conducted in government, aided, private unaided polytechnics and polytechnics run in existing private unaided engineering colleges. There is no age restriction for appearing for the exam. A candidate needs to obtain 36 marks out of 120 (30 per cent) in order to be declared passed in the examination.
