Union Public Service Commission released the interveiw call letter for the candidates who cleared the Indian Forest Service Examination, 2014 on their official website. The personality test of the candidates is scheduled to start today, i.e. from February 2 to 12, 2015 in the forenoon and afternoon session.
UPSC will not send the interveiw call letter by post. The candidates are being informed through E-Summon letter, E-mail and SMS at their respective addresses. E-summon letters can also be downloaded by adding Roll number through UPSC's official website- http://upsc.gov.in/.

The IFS (Mains) was conducted on November 22, 2014. It was conducted in two sessions; forenoon and afternoon session.
The government has changed the pattern of the IFS Examination from the examination year 2013 by introducing a component of screening mechanism through Civil Services (Preliminary) examination. All the candidates applying for Indian Forest Service Examination are therefore required to appear for the civil services(preliminary) examination and qualify the same for going to the second stage(written and interview).
IFS mains was held at the following centres: Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Port Blair and Shimla.
Approximately 85 vacancies were expected to be filled on the basis of the results of this years examination.
